Sorry, kinda just ranting. For most of the 90s I worked with a tool with similar features to what's described in that link, and thought it had a lot of merit. I expect this issue will be closed citing "won't fix" since it would be quite a departure for this extension, however if anyone knows any other project which embeds command execution into an Atom editor window in any way like the worksheet concept, I'd appreciate a link.
