CouchPotato Module #235

Open sparklyballs opened 10 years ago

sparklyballs commented 10 years ago

Couchpotato has recently been updated and since the new version htpcmanager integration now longer works. It passes the test in the settings page but there are no wanted movies on the dashboard and it no longer gives any information in the couchpotato pane. Hopefully you are more helpful than the couchpotato dev, I raised an issue with them on another issue with their latest update not talking to SAB and was told it was my fault.

Same happens here

styxit commented 10 years ago

can you access the CP interface and is it working? I update CP and the api is not working, but also i can not access CP at all using its own web interface.

sparklyballs commented 10 years ago

it's intermittent at best at the moment regards access via CP's on web interface. But when it does work it passes the test in HTPCmanager settings page.

Not sure if it's relevant but the firefox plugin for CP works ok, i assume it must use the api also.

UPDATE: I have just noticed that when the CP page is up and running and i go to the HTPC page and the couchpotato pane it completely crashes the CP webui. and the htpc log shows this over and over

htpcmanager

Hellowlol commented 10 years ago

I disabled cp in htpc manager for now, as there must be some serious issues with it. I cant even check the log or read the docs without everything freezing up.

GR360RY commented 10 years ago

Same issue here. Switched both htpc-manager and couchpotato to earlier version: htpc-manager ( 2bf51aacd9c9d5b81afe2e29b60ca1b601fa74f7 - May 18 ) couchpotato ( 7ceb8dc79c65ad697f51607ea773d6a49bd66db0 - May 19 ) Couchpotato stopped crashing but API works only partially. I can add movies with htpc-manager, but the wanted list doesn't reflect the actual status of couchpotato( always empty). The same goes for couchpotato history.

@sparklyballs the SSL issue got fixed... What happens if you guys only disable htpc integration? But keep the current CP version?

shapetheLOLa commented 10 years ago

its fine then. Im on current HTPC and CP. Seems theres just something wrong with CP integration from HTPC-Manager because of the CP update

RuudBurger commented 10 years ago

Yeah it can fail, but shouldn't suppose to hang.

Hellowlol commented 10 years ago

Yes, some api call keeps locking if up. I didn't see any changes to the api when I glanced at the code, but it was a big update so I might have missed something. If @styxit don't already have started to fix it I'll take a look tomorrow

RuudBurger commented 10 years ago

Could you all update CP now, I've had an issue with threads hanging, fixed in develop yesterday. Merged it in master. Hope this fixes it..

styxit commented 10 years ago

In the CP module nothing has changed as far as i know.

RuudBurger commented 10 years ago

There are some small changes in the API (which have been in the develop branch a few months) You need to change those to get your app working I guess.

shapetheLOLa commented 10 years ago

For me its at least not timing out anymore. CP still doesnt work in htpc-manager tho :)

styxit commented 10 years ago

Looks like CP is no longer locked after the API calls. still got some JS errors but that is a HTPC-Manager issue, probably due to the new CP API you mentioned.

sparklyballs commented 10 years ago

The last update has fixed most of the CP issues but the wanted movies aren't showing on the dashboard. screen1

They are working in the wanted section in the CP pane proper though.

screen2

Hellowlol commented 10 years ago

Im still having issues with the module, if i click on any of the movies, nothing happens. just some js errors. Same goes for search

styxit commented 10 years ago

i know, i only fixed showing the movies grid for now.

shapetheLOLa commented 10 years ago

Great work, dashboard works again. Now Im just missing 99% of the Movies in the library Part :)
