Is this in reference to the CLI flag --local-key
?
If so: no, I don't have a better name in mind, but I'm very open to alternatives.
The spirit of "local key" is: a device key, aka a key the user has on hand on the immediate device (that is, the one they are holding in their hand) that they can use to sign data with.
Let the bike shedding begin!
~We use the term petname to refer to a human-memorable did. In noosphere, however, we call them local keys. I think this is less obvious than petname, so I propose we change it.~
Do we have a better phrase than local-key? As you can see, I found it confusing.
