Scanner is detected Bash ShellShock Injection for Web application #129

We performed a scan for a web application that was developed using ASP.NET MVC Framework with HTML5/CSS3/JQuery as the front end. We found the scanner reported Bash ShellShock Injection vlunerability for this application, I would like to know why this was listed during the scan though the application has nothing to do with this?

I am also getting this false positive. I checked the servers and they are not vulnerable, yet the scan results say that they are.
