Adding Tahoe-LAFS would allow people to safely store important data in a distributed manner. I suspect zooko has feelings on which branch is best.

Chris Wood has been working on a GUI for Tahoe-LAFS https://github.com/gridsync/gridsync

Eventually we'll finish the magic-folder backend... then the integration of Gridsync + Magic-Folder should result in an application that is easy to use and has end-to-end crypto.
