No option for global key on new reCaptcha setup form #194

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin#createsite
2. See there is no way to create a global key.
3. Go to "My account" and check separately created sites and determine there is
no way to merge/create global key from there.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to create a global key so people can register whether they
visit mydomain.com, mydomain.co.uk, mydomain.net etc.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
N/A

Please provide any additional information below.

It looks like it has been removed :( ... but if what I'm reading is correct,
still works on grandfathered sites - you can find more articles like
https://forum.myroundcube.com/topic/19-google-removed-global-keys-from-their-fre
e-recaptcha-service/

A lot of my sites use multiple names, not to try to game search engines, they
are all synonyms, but to lock in trademark - for me it looks like I'll simply
make all links to forms which use recaptcha use the full path using the domain
that's now in the canonical tag... that might work for you also
