Host Program Crashing and Possible Problem with Smart Screen, and Probably Avast Free #16

When I installed it in Win 10 Home x64 with Avast Free, the program suddenly disappeared after installation.

I uninstalled completely, re-installed, and the host program crashed randomly.

I tried again, and it would't install completely. I added it to the exception list of Avast, and it worked. But the addon in Firefox (the one with a blue arrow) wouldn't light up.

I re-installed, and Smart Screen ran, warning me. I let it run, anyway, and it installed correctly. This time, the addon bar arrow lighted up.

I tested it by downloading something, and it worked. The downloading was also fast. However, nothing ever shows up in Windows notifications for videos to download (I tried YT, and the notification for video downloads is clicked), although the media grabber works.

Finally, for some reason, videos that could be grabbed by the old XDM could not be grabbed by the new one.

It's xdm-app-host. Windows reports that it crashed. I tried trouble compatibility for it and the main app, as well as added the whole program folder as an exception in Avast free, but the problem persisted.

One more thing: the error message appears only when I close Firefox. Otherwise, both the browser and XDM work fine.

Sorry about that: the error was caused when I disabled error reporting in the Windows OS.
