XDM batch download not working on ubuntu 22.04 #1090

Hi XDM team. I just installed ubuntu 22.04 and i installed XDM. I tried doing batch download but, when you paste the links and click the ok button, nothing happens. Single downloads works alright but the batch download, after pasting the links and pressing the ok button, nothing happens. Here is an attached screenshot, any help is much appreciated.

OS: Linux (Ubuntu 22.04)
XDM Version 8.0.26 BETA

I have the same issue.

XDM version: 8.0.28 BETA
OS: Ubuntu 23.04
Kernel: 6.2.0-32-generic
