System tray icon doesn't appear in KDE Plasma on Wayland

Describe the bug When launching XDM under Wayland the tray icon doesn't appear at all, which makes this program unusable. I don't know if XDM has any Wayland support at all.

To Reproduce

1. Launch KDE Plasma (Wayland) (Though it's probably a problem in any Wayland DE...)
2. Launch XDM
3. The tray icon doesn't appear

Expected behavior The tray icon should appear after launching XDM on Wayland.

I can confirm this behaviour too on Fedora 40 using Wayland in the same version of KDE Plasma

Can also confirm for Fedora 40 on Plasma 6 on Wayland.
