"video download" popup won't disable #278

I'm using the addon for XDM from here, the problem is every time I click to download a file this pops up,

According to this changelog (point 11) there is such an option. I found it under: Tools - Options - View Settings (Browser Monitoring) - Start download automatically https://sourceforge.net/p/xdman/discussion/general/thread/5e6ff2ef/

but even after enabling this option the download popup still appears, so the setting isn't working

I already had that option enabled but I still get the popup when downloading files using the firefox addon

The "XDM browser monitor" extension seems the cause of it. After I unchecked the "Browser monitoring", I am not getting the popup for now. Then I checked the box again, everything is still fine. image

And!!! If I restart "XDM 2020" program. The popup is coming back. (I first closed firefox, and restarted "XDM 2020", then opened a video link, I got the popup)

So it is some sort of initialization / synchronization issue.

Currently I am working on new rewrite of xdm to fix fundamental problems like this. The rewrite will be merged soon to xdm public repo and i am expecting to release beta in October
