Trying to download VIMEO files saved in .MP4 format on Akamai servers in resolutions of 240p, 360p, 540p, 720p, and 1080p for download using the DASH or HLS streaming protocols.
XDM 8.0.1 BETA offers me the option of selecting a specific resolution (which is wonderful), but only saves the file in .MKV format,
Would like to save each resolution in native .MP4 format instead of .MKV.
I do not know what happened, I haven't changed anything in the settings.
I have the latest version and I use Microsoft Edge.
Previously I was able to download formats like mp4 and TS from different sites. One day it just showed mkv formats, sites like youtube where I can previously download mp4 directly without converting it now I can only download mkv. I personally don't use mkv since some of my devices don't support it, and converting to mp4 just takes too long.
