here is the solutions

download https://github.com/subhra74/xdm-browser-monitor as a zip and extract it

then go to the chrome extension page and activate developper mode

then click load extension on the top left and select the chrome folder inside the extracted zip

after that just clear the error if there is and you are done

Is this the new version? It looks older than XDM 2020 and this just says version 8?!!!! Looking at the same issue I have about the browser extension a posted solution from a few days ago is for version 8......IDK I absolutely hate this site homepages constantly change for everything, nobody finishes what they started or they do it just doesn't get updated unless someone else takes it over and I've had plenty of issues with viruses on here before so I don't like it when all of a sudden there is dramatic changes on how things are done, the way the program looks, or how you install things. Whatever I guess I'll just look for a different download manager which sucks because I like this one a lot!

thats what I was using too but just reinstalled my OS and now can't get the browser extensions like I could before

oh ok thanks! I didn't know your instructions were for that version because the first couple of posts were for version 8 which I think is from 2013? I'll give this a shot then.....I wonder why the extension got pulled from everywhere?

Thanks for the reply I appreciate it! I'm starting to wish I didn't do this clean install lo.... I had less problems when I built the PC. Firecuda NVMe software sucks no secure erase just the same old looking software and normal erasing/writing/killing hard drive life options. Flashed wrong bios on my card on accident Gigabyte should make the download page say the model number cuz I flashed the reference card bios and the picture at the top of the page looked like my card not an ugly reference card lol. Hopefully a few more things go wrong cuz I still have a few pieces of hair that I haven't pulled out yet lol

Guys i am sorry but ARE U KIDDING ME? If u use ( Chrome extension ) u will see it is NOT WORK I try to found ( XDM Chrome Extension ) Because i try alot but it is not work UNTIL NOW I download it ( in Manjaro LINUX ) i want use it in BRAVE BROWSER

I get an error when trying to load extracted zip:

I get an error when trying to load extracted zip:

Actually I was importing wrong folder! I should've import chrome folder, inside the xdm-browser-monitor

Why has Google Chrome removed this extension? Is there a security problem?

The extension is using deprecated features of chrome

I UPDATED THE EXTENSION TO MANIFEST V3,' but due to the cors issue, I also had to update the xdman.jr that is in the root folder of XDM, YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD my version of xdman.jar and replace the one in the root folder (DON'T FORGET TO GO TO "File" --> "Exit" first).

YOU MUST ENABLE DEVELOPER MODE IN CHROME, IN EXTENSIONS, 1

HERE IS THE EXTENSION. YOU MUST UNZIP AND DRAG AND DROP THE "xdm-extesion-manifest-v3" FOLDER 2 THEN IT MUST APPEAR LIKE THIS: 3

THIS IS MY VERSION OF xdman.jar: 4

I fail to get this: I installed XDM on Firefox, then on Chromium/Yandex browser.

Oddly, BOTH differ from one another. Firefox: XDM Integration Module Size: < 1 MBSize< 1 MB Version: 3 . 5 Installer V8.0.23.

Yandex XDM: V2.1 This one also came with a Master File, which runs a program, ALSO different from the FF one.

Why are both different? Shouldn't both be equal?

And to top it off: My FF now has 2? different XDM's? Wut gives?
