Hi, try the new beta versions. Once installed, follow the instructions you find in the settings of the client, under the "browser extension" entry.
i got the following error after installing beta extension on slimjet (arch linux)
Please register the extension with XDM
[Register with XDM](xdm-app:chrome-extension://akdmdglbephckgfmdffcdebnpjgamofc/)
Once registered, please restart the browser
when i click nothing happens
(Unofficial instructions) To install the extension for Chromium (tested on Microsoft Edge, & maybe it works on Chrome too -same engine-) :
Download the extension zip from the official article (https://sourceforge.net/p/xdman/blog/2018/01/xdm-integration-with-microsoft-edge/)
Unzip it and go to Chromium Extensions settings & enable "developer mode" as well as "Allow extensions from other stores" from the left-side panel
On the same page (Extensions settings) click on the "Load unpacked" button and choose the unzipped extension file.
You should see the extension without any red danger icon, if that is the case you are good to go.
It only works on Ms Edge. It does NOT work on Chrome
I have a similar issue. Brave Release Notes v1.48.164 (Feb 15, 2023) Upgraded Chromium to 110.0.5481.100 Installed on fedora 37 along with Xtreme Download Manager version 7.2.11 XDM installation went OK (so I think), I can launch the app, but will not merge into Brave. All instructions found on the web are either, not functional or outdated. So the question that remain is: How to Link XDM into Brave ? Much appreciation...
It is not possible to install the extension for the browser (for any), when you click on the link, an error 404 appears (screenshot below).
