Automatic Fetching seems to spam fetch requests after a long time #1716

Version info

Yesterday after the update to build 2083, I set automatic fetching to 10 minutes. Today, I log to my computer and Sublime Merge seems to loop on fetching. I tried to cancel but a new fetch start as soon as the previous is cancelled. I had to restart sublime merge to break the loop.

Steps to reproduce

Set auto fetch to 10min Let computer idle for 10 hours Sublime Merge loop on auto fetch

Expected behavior

Sublime Merge do not start a new fetch before the time I set in Preference ; even if I cancel the fetch, or if it fail.

Hi @Neospiro,

Could you confirm what delay (in minutes) you had the auto-fetch set to? (I see you mentioned 10 minutes above but just wanted to confirm this number)
