Very long branch name hides menu bar buttons #1814

Description

A very long branch title hides the menu bar buttons on top with stash/pop/branch name/search/more menu. This makes it impossible to interact with this menu.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a new branch with a very long name. E.g. "this-is-a-very-long-branch-name-in-fact-it-is-so-long-that-the-buttons-disappear-the-windows-is-too-small-and-this-makes-it-harder-to-interact-with-the-menu-and-is-also-confusing-because-essential-functionalty-is-suddenly-missing". Note that is depends on the window size how long the branch name should be before it disappears.
  2. Menu buttons are no longer visible.

Expected behavior

Menu button is still visible, and the branch name is truncated.

Can reproduce on Kubuntu 23.04/Build 2090.
