Keep file open in Tree view when changing selected commit

Problem description

When you have the file open, via the tree view, on a selected commit, when changing the selected commit, all the folders in the tree view are collapsed and selection is lots.

If you're jumping through a lot of commits, checking the contents of a file and how its changed, its tedious to have to expanding the tree to select the same file over and over

Preferred solution

Persist the selection state if the new commit contains a file at the same path.
