performance slow when using in a giant project with thousands of commiter and six years git commit history

Problem description

when commit, it will wait a long time before see it in git tree and do push action

Preferred solution

develop a new mode for huge project that only load recent commit

Thanks for reporting this issue! Even with millions of commits, Sublime Merge should run smoothly.

When you have a spare moment, could you please provide some additional context below:

What platform are you on (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
What version of Sublime Merge are you running (Can be found in the Sublime Merge menu bar under Help > About Sublime Merge)
Approximately how many commits are in the repository (you can run git rev-list --count --all to check)
Could you also provide the output of git count-objects -vH
Does the repository have any submodules? If so, how many?
