Indicators for current target characters to convert are not displayed when using Japanese IME (almost a BUG) #4352

Problem description

When using Japanese IME in ST4, current target characters to convert cannot be distinguished because indicators are not displayed.

(By the way, VS CODE with dark-color theme has the same issue.)

Preferred (Almost Mandatory for Japanese) solution

Indicators (the underlines the blue arrows are pointing to) must be displayed.

Environment

OS: Windows 20H2 IME: MS-IME, Google IME, Atok (All of them have the same issue) ST4: Build 4107

Four months have passed. Any update? If it is difficult to fix this problem, I strongly recommend to revert the IME function to that of ST3. (Because of this critial defect, I still have to use ST3 as my main text editor....:crying_cat_face:)

Three years have passed. Any update? I am still having difficulty using Sublime because of this issue...
