Scroll exit on horizontal move limit #6425

Closed chr-bakk closed 2 months ago

Problem description

In most other windows I can just grab the scroll marker and movevertically i.e. scroll to where I want, just to have a peek, and when I want to return to where I was working I can just move my mouse horizontally away from the scrollbar and the scroll location will fall back. I wish I could do this with the minimap or at least with the scroll bar in ST.

Preferred solution

I wish I could do this with the minimap or at least with the scroll bar in ST. Ideally say if I move over 50% of the screen width away from the scroll bar.

Alternatives

If not with the minimap maybe the scrollbar only. Or preferably only the minimap as that's easier.

What platform are you using? Scroll bar behavior is platform specific.

Windows behaves like this, for instance.
