Running script causes window to quickly open and close #22

I saw a similar thread regarding this but there was no insight on how it was resolved before it was closed. When I sudo console.py or gui.py, a black window quickly opens and closes, and nothing further happens. Tried on latest python version as well as 3.9.0, from 2020. Also using Windows through powershell. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Resolved: Reinstalled earlier version of python and forgot to reinstall hid and pyqt5, in addition to leaving other called items out of same directory.
