Please let me know if this issue have now been resolved with https://github.com/subrosa-io/subrosa-client/commit/0ab60a509f678f9bb3271042fabb7f5911083680
This specific change has been pushed out to https://subrosa.io/app/, please pull from master if you're running the client off locally.
I downrevved to FF30.0 to test, and this problem is still present.
Thank you for testing - unfortunately this doesn't seem anything we can fix or work around. I've added a note about compatibility with FF<31 to the help docs.
Thanks! It would be great to have some sort of warning in the UI when you detect FF<31. @coooperq and I spent about an hour trying to debug his microphone before we realized it was actually my inability to receive sound.
Yes, I agree, that would be much better. Added: https://github.com/subrosa-io/subrosa-client/commit/800bdfb43428d41b49d6302e8df4bb42111735a1
Excellent, thank you!
Steps to reproduce:
Expected result:
Both parties can hear each other.
Actual result:
My contact, who had FF31.0, could hear and see me, but I could only see my contact. I couldn't hear their audio. When I upgraded to FF31.0 I was able to hear their audio.
