@michael @Integral I have tried under Windows (IE/FF/Chrome) and Linux (FF/Chrome) which seems to be quite stable. IMO most functionality is good from a low-level point of view. Still there might be some issues with detecting combos under OSX. Could you do an iteration using combos and creating special characters (maybe with combos involved)? And see if something breaks the editor?

With dragging and special native CE stuff: We are detecting such changes after they happened. However I don't know how we want to deal with it... The best would be a popup saying 'Sorry' and rerender the editor from scratch.
