Make it so it auto closes steam #1

Heya, I came from Reddit, tried it and works great, however i noticed that i need to close steam first for it to work, which makes. But then i thought, it would be so much faster if the script killed steam, then added to steam, then started steam again. Because if i have to close steam, "add to steam" then run steam again, it isnt really faster than just going to steam and hitting "add non-steam game". What do you think? or maybe there is a simple / faster way?

I've thought about this but i think both not killing and killing steam are valid use cases (for example adding multiple games at once will kill steam multiple times then which i don't think is a wonderful idea) ~also idk i've just been adding games and switching back to game mode~

Which, also, would killing steam be a great idea? Is there a graceful way to shut down steam? If so, i can just release another .desktop that adds to steam and after kills steam

Hmm, you do have a point, especially about adding more than one game. I'm not sure what the best way to go about it would be, but killing steam may not be the way. :D
