Create an option for toggling between the behavior of "add to thread" and "replace pane" for links. #21

The current default is that a Mod+Click or Mod+Enter on a link opens that link in a new pane in the thread. A Mod+Shift+Click or Mod+Shift+Enter opens the link in the current pane rather than adding to the thread.

Users have requested the ability to toggle which of these actions require the additional Shift modifier.

We should ensure that the change affects all places where this interaction can be found:
