Hebrew text

Hi,

I would like to put hebrew text using polyglossia package

\usepackage{polyglossia} \setdefaultlanguage{english} \setotherlanguages{hebrew} \newfontfamily\hebrewfont[Script=Hebrew]{Times New Roman}

or using babel \RequirePackage[hebrew,english]{babel} \RequirePackage{hebfont}

BUT

when I compile, either all the style disappear or the hebrew text is replaced by small cubes.

do you have any idea ?

Solution : in Dissertate.cls

\RequirePackage[utf8x]{inputenc}
\RequirePackage[hebrew,english]{babel}
\RequirePackage{hebfont}

add a hebrew font that works in latex ex: https://www.hebrewfont.net/download.php?id=737278

in the preamble, before \begin{document}

\newfontfamily{\heb}{KeterYG-Medium}
[Extension = .ttf]

in the body

\R{\heb התאים המהלכים: גישה ויסקואלסטית למיקרוסקופיה של כוח משיכה}}
