Missing "home" link in main nav #84

I tried adding a link to the "home" page but it didn't have the menu-item-home class that's required to style it. Any idea why? If we don't have this link, I need to adjust the margins on odd/even LIs for the 320-480 breakpoint.

I would have prefer a breadcrumb. But if we do this we do not want to display the link on the home page.

Considering that the site has no hierarchy to speak of, a home link is the best solution to me. The CSS already has the appropriate rules to hide the home link for small screens and on the homepage, and adjust menu item width accordingly. The custom home page doesn't bear the normal classes, that's why the CSS doesn't apply.

If we remove the home link altogether, we need to swap odd and even in style.css so that the menu looks good on iPhone portrait. @oncletom, any idea why adding the home page doesn't have menu-item-home in its classes?

What's the link towards home in the nav menu? Is the one containing "Programme", "Comment venir" etc.?

goulvench commented 12 years ago

Well no, these are different pages. I had added a link to the home page in the menu editor for main nav but it doesn't get the menu-item-home class it used to, so items are badly spaced out and we've been forced to remove it altogether, thats why you don't see it at all.

That's cool but really, don't need that for launch.
