State of sugar framework #90

Hello. I'm on studying elixir, and interested in web frameworks. Though most of people are participating in phoenix, it looks like sugar also can be good option. But it seems no updates has been going on over a year. Could I ask that, is it still going-on project?

Thanks.

is it still going-on project?

As far as I know it is :)

But it seems no updates has been going on over a year.

Last update in this repo was 8 months ago (which is still quite a bit of time, but such is life). There have also been more recent commits in other repos under this project. Development is slow, but it's steady and indeed moving forward.

I've personally been working on some enhancements to / refactoring of the template system (which has gone more than a year without updates, and can definitely use some work), but they're not quite ready for release (hopefully Soon™). In the somewhat-near future, one can likely expect some neat things like better template inclusion, making the contents of plug.assigns available in templates, some bugfixes, and other assorted goodies.

Whatever the case, Sugar is perfectly usable even with the latest Elixir versions (the templates app throws some warnings at the moment about requiring an older Elixir, but don't mind them :) ).
