[ ] the commit message is lame, see making commits for our guidance on commit messages; this is something that we can correct out of irritation when we merge your patch, but you probably don't want us to have to do it, and it has the advantage of clarifying intention, purpose, and testing,
[ ] neither the commit message nor the pull request mention issue #6 being fixed.
