Home icon color not updating correctly

Description

Home icon is not changing color on home page. It randomly works sometimes.

Expected Behavior

Home icon should change color everytime on home homepage

How to Reproduce

Just simply go to home page https://musicblocks.sugarlabs.org/

Console log Errors:

No errors related to this in console.

popup message is also incorrect

The color change is not arbitrary. It turns red when there are blocks outside of the home screen. This is an indication to the user that there are blocks not currently visible.
