Cannot add or edit entries or groups from phone or kindle fire #466

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Trying to add or edit entries or groups on Samsung Galaxy 3 or Kindle Fire is 
not possible

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The buttons for add, enter, save are nit on the screen. 
The database settings are also grayed out like access to make changes is locked.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.9.18.3

Please provide any additional information below.
It works fine on my iPad and it updates correctly on my phone and kindle.  I 
just cannot make changes fromfrom phone or my kindle fire.  It works great on 
my husband's kindle fire.
