Android 4.4.2 - Password invalid #631

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Edit vault in KeePassX 0.4.3 on Debian 7.2
2. Synchronize cloud-storage
3. Open vault from cloud-storage app location

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Open vault and show entries
Instead: Invalid password

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.99.10 on Android 4.4.2 (Kitkat) on Nexus 5

Please provide any additional information below.
I THINK, but not sure, this has been an issue since 4.4.2. I've purchased N5 on
release-date, I believe, but not sure, it has worked on this device. The method
I described definitely worked on HTC Sensation (Android 4.2). I have ART
compiler enabled, not Dvorak. I enabled ART a couple days after purchase.

Password-issues was PEBCAK... Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard...
However, I can reproduce a situation where I change/add/remove an entry in
KeePassX on Linux, sync with dropbox on Linux, sync dropbox on Android, open
KeePassDroid, get non-updated vault.

I have to reselect/reopen my .kdb to see changes, as if KeePassDroid has some
sort of caching-mechanism?
