Unable to open database on Tablet

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download KeePass Droid
2. KeePass is looking for .kdb file by default. If I add an x it does nothing
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to open database, I see nothing instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.99.11 OS: Android Version 4.2.1 on Asus Transformer Pad TF700T

Works fine on my Android 4.3 Samsung SCH-R950 Note II phone

Issue has occurred with MotoG second generation - it sees the files - however 
they are greyed out and unavailable to open :(  

Does not matter how I try :(

On the MotoG - worked out the issue - its that the search bar to select a file 
does not always work.  The way that I managed to get the option to work was to 
download the file (keepass file) from the internet and then get Keypassdroid to 
select it.  Somehow or other it still refuses to select files placed in other 
locations :(
