checkbox width calculated wrong if visual styles are disabled

in the Branch/Tag dialog the text for the checkbox "Switch working copy to new 
branch/tag" is not readable. It is wrapped and thus not completly visible 
because the first line is cut off at the top and the second line at the bottom. 
I can provide a screenshot if requested.

I think I found the reason. While having the dialog open I changed one setting 
in the windows performance options. When the option is enabled, the checkbox 
label is ok. When disabled, it is not.

The setting is called "Use visual styles on windows and buttons". (See 
http://social.micros​oft.com/Forums/getfi​le/63313/ for a screenshot, 
hotlink)

Because I have a "weak" PC I always select "adjust for best performance" and so 
every setting in that windows dialog is disabled.
