Export MIDI reflecting current in-app expression settings; numerous other changes #221

There's no particular rush to merge this -- the PR is partly just to get a convenient Netlify preview link.

The main contribution here is the in-app expression MIDI export functionality, though the PR also now includes several more updates that are nearly as consequential. Some no doubt could be moved to other PRs, but perhaps that's not necessary. The commit messages should (hopefully) explain all of the changes.
