Should consider a pipeline approach?

per @ndushay It will let us tweak overall conversion functionality easier: wanna change the authority lookups? it’s “this” code. wanna change the xxx? it’s “that” code...wanna do the authority lookups later in the process? the pipeline approach would help with that.
