The map data we want is available in the catalog here https://earthworks.stanford.edu/catalog/stanford-db200dk3528

The geojson is available via Stanford geoserver here: https://geowebservices.stanford.edu/geoserver/web/

Stace recommends we use the geojson

Documentation on leaflet config from Linkurious: https://doc.linkurio.us/admin-manual/latest/geo/

We need the following additional parameters in the Leaflet config:

  1. geojson file
  2. styling
  3. interacticity (map pop-ups)

Note re geoserver: you can always find that url from the “Web Services” link on a public Earthworks page. Go to Layer Preview>Search for your DRUID>Pick your derivative>grab the URL

Note sent to Kim Durante 12/15: There is an area description field in the GeoJson files from Mapping Inequality. On our geoserver, those text blobs seem to be clipped, consistently. I checked the original and they are not. Is there a character limit to what we import for a field ? See https://geowebservices.stanford.edu/geoserver/druid/ows?service=WFS&version=1.0.0&request=[…]00dk3528&maxFeatures=50&outputFormat=application%2Fjson
