This appeared to be related to indexing a "test" object: https://argo.stanford.edu/view/druid:vz332dg7306 It's unclear how indexing it caused it to retry thousands of times in quick succession.

Per Arcadia this was a rogue test object. Fixed by remediating the cocina description.
