As a development strategy, we can mount the current Moab datastore as a read-only to a new environment and develop the complete new metadata and archival strategy against current data without touching current Preservation Core. Only revisions to the Ingest Robot processing will ultimately need to be creating objects.

This could involve mounting the current sdr-services mounts read-only somewhere, or creating a (static) copy of a current sdr-services volume to some other location.
