Noting that I have made the change to the first item I mentioned above (without curator feedback), shortening the title, and in a recent PR I fixed the orphaned "2021" part I also mentioned.
I think we can leave this open in case we hear back on the QR code item. I'd still like to remove the SVA QR item if the curators okay it, because that would make the card less crowded, but if we don't hear from them about it, or they choose not to remove it, it's tolerable.
Closing this since the open items were addressed in PR #314. There is no longer the text length concern shown in the first image of the issue description.
The African American Histories experience title and subtitle require a combined 5 lines, which makes the cards for that experience look a bit busy, and in the case of the final card, pushes the "Explore other" section too close to the bottom (we need some whitespace there for things to look more polished):
Since the phrase "Silicon Valley" is in both the title and subtitle, my first suggestion is to update the title so that it reads "African American Histories" (letting the subtitle provide the complete title, while also being consistent with the more concise titles of the two other oral history experiences). That would result in this:
(The "2021" orphaned on the third line of the subtitle isn't ideal, either, but feels more acceptable if we get the title to a single line.)
Also - QR code item issue
While we're talking to the curators about this, another issue I'm unsure about how to handle is the "Silicon Valley Archives" QR item on the final card. The curators previously suggested removing the "Silicon Valley Archives" QR item from the final cards, because we show it on the More info modal and it solved some element crowding issues. We did remove it for all other wallscreen 7 experiences. So it would be nice to remove it here as well, but this experience will also be displayed on wallscreen 11, which doesn't include the the "Silicon Valley Archives" QR item on its More info modal. Since I believe we're using a single YAML file for the experience data, I don't think we can show different QR items for the AAH experience on one wallscreen versus the other?
So the question for the curators is: should we keep the the "Silicon Valley Archives" QR item on the final card, resulting in it being visible on both wallscreens? Or can we remove it, with the result that it won't be displayed on the AAH experience final card on either wallscreen?
