Ok! After some further GA wrangling, this may not be necessary.
In Reports > Engagement > Events: Event Name
, click on the +
icon to add another dimension to the table
Select Page screen > Page path and screen class
Result:
Current GA data on which experiences are being selected is heavily weighted towards the experience type selection screens. This is likely due to the screens' autoplay behavior.
Adding additional events to buttons to include experience names (e.g.
start-video-silicon-genesis
) would make it easier to filter out autoplay noise and analyze which experiences are getting genuine user engagement.
