Apps freeze when opened on the phonde

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Compile any app in xcode with no errors and no warnings
2. Copy the app to the phone and run it
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The app running, but what i get is a black screen (except for that silver
bar on the top) and the phone looks like it's frozen. After a while the app
quits.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
im compiling on Leopard, installed the toolchain according to the tutorial
in #26 of inssue 31 and #22 of the inssue 31.
on the phone i'm running firmware 1.1.1

Please provide any additional information below.
apps compiled with no problems, but i get that weird "error" when i try to
run them, i'm including a xcode project of "hello world" so you can see if
i messed something there...

Hi, I have a similar problem (it gives me a black screen and quit soon). Did 
you find a solution to the problem?

I think so, don't really remember, but I think I had forgot to chmod 755, so 
the app
hadn't execution privilege...but not sure...
