Performance on Turing GPUs like the 2080Ti is not good #98

Compared to the Ampere GPUs, the 2080Ti is performing like a 3060! which should never be the case! Even compared to RDNA2 GPUs (the weakest of the bunch), the 2080Ti is like a 6700XT, in stark contrast to Quake 2 RTX or Minecraft RTX.

Please look into it.

I play it on a 6700XT and it runs very fine....

That just shows how big of leap in RT pefromance Nvidia made from 20 series to 30, 2080ti has 544 tensor cores which output 107.6 TFlops while 3060 have 112 Tensor cores with 129.6 TFlops, 5x less cores than 2080ti and yet more powerful
