It's not a real issue or bug, just a though on how to enhance the look of the somewhat flat looking glow:
In real life, the color of a Glow tends to cycle through the spectrum with its falloff. This is due to the energy loss of the photos further away from the light source.
For example: The Shotgun muzzle flash is yellow, but its glow should become more reddish with the alpha fall off.
And for white lights, a default color like a blueish tint could help to spice them up a little.
