Many instances of main page after using map and trying to exit

After doing the following:
1. Enter route number and press go
2. Press go back
3. Press menu and try to exit

Application doesn't exit because there are many instances of main page

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Look in MainPage.java

What is the expected output? 
- Application should exit after searching for a route and returning to main 
page and 
pressing exit button

What do you see instead?
- Application doesn't exit and old instance of main page shows up
