Forum user Bomoo noticed there was a gap when two side fairings were mounted onto the Service Module:

I suspect this came about from the collider rework, and at the time I was trying to avoid explosions from intersecting fairings. But perhaps I can just move the visual mesh to line up properly.

Bomoo confirmed the commit fixes this issue.

Aforementioned fixes failed regression testing (#95), and requires rework.

The fairings need a fundamental rework, and so I've renamed the issue.

Taking a page from forums user Sobol's SLS pack, I've reworked the side fairings as follows:

Fairing panels have 1/3rd rather than 1/2 coverage of the Service Module circumference, resulting in "flatter" panels that should reduce collisions
Panels now include jettison motors that automatically activate when staged, with enough thrust to push them out of the way cleanly in both atmospheric and orbital scenarios
Panel decouplers now set to zero force as the jettison motors do all the work pushing them away
