The new stock ModuleAnimationGroup from KSP 1.0.x provides support for looped animation. I just need to figure out how to get it to work...
After much banging and shouting, the looped animations finally work - the rotator lights can be toggled via the right-click context menu, or by binding Activate/Deactive Strobe to the desired action groups.
The core functionality required for this parts pack is the ability to toggle the lights on, and keep the rotators running in an infinite loop until the lights are switched off.
Action Group or right-click context GUI menu are both desired.
