Maybe there is a stand-alone application that provides playlists for alarm 
clock?
I really think it should be different application. That's the power of Android 
- 
several apps can cooperate together.

I don't know the inner workings for Android (yet) but e.g.
Kaloer Clock lets you use the playlists created with MixZing - so maybe you can 
use
the integrated music player to use a playlist or just any particular song from 
Smart
Alarm.
