Alarm doesn't sound in silent mode

If the phone is set to silent, the audible alarm doesn't go off in the
morning. The vibration still happens -- as does the rest of the alarm, but
no sound.

This is contrary to the behaviour of the standard Android alarm, and does
reflect an issue for people who tend to leave their phones on silent much
of / all of the time.

If it is a desired functionality, can I suggest implementing "Sound alarm
even in silent mode" as an option so we can have the best of both worlds?

Thanks for a great bugreport!

As for now, you can go to original Alarm Clock and change the setting there - 
it is 
shared between all applications
