Stops "tracking" for no apparent reason

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Well, I expected it to be "tracking" my sleep movements all night. But the 
last two nights it hasn't been working. My phone screen used to shut off 
and lock, but last two nights it has been staying on (not sure what 
settings changed) and I noticed right before I was about to fall asleep 
that it had stopped tracking, and the "start tracking" button had 
reappeared. I tried a few more times, touching the start tracking button 
and settling back down, and after a (seemingly) random amount of time, it 
would stop tracking again.

Which phone model do you have?

Please provide any additional information below.
My phone is not on the list as a phone that your app doesn't work on, 
though neither is it on the list that the app definitely works for. Is it 
possible the sensitivity is too low, or too high? I do fidget a lot before 
I go to bed. I'm not sure if that would cause the app to cancel tracking, 
however. I would try to describe my History graph, if it weren't so 
choppy, from starting and stopping the tracking. It seemed to work very 
well the first few nights I had the app, however.

I have a Motorola Droid and my phone also stops tracking for no apparent 
reason. Sometimes 5 to 10 
times a night

 Nexus One: Same problem. Consistently stops tracking every night since I started using 2-3 hours into the tracking.

I have a Galaxy S - Samsung Vibrant and have consistently seen this issue every 
night I have used this program. It will record anywhere from 20 mins to 2 hours 
and then nothing the remainder of the night. I have tried opening up another 
app that keeps the screen from turning off, and tried setting the phone down in 
different locations each night, but alas, to no avail. Thanks for looking into 
this!

Droid X: same problem as above. When I wake up, tracking is turned off. History 
shows normal cyclical activity for a few hours, then nothing. During the past 
two nights, tracking stopped after 2 hours and the next night after 3.5 hours.

Same problem here. I have HTC Desire HD. It was working find for some weeks, 
the last 6 days it has not trecked anything.

Have the same problem, only intermittently.  Sometimes it works fine, other 
times it will restart sometime during the night and the "start tracking" button 
will come back up.  LG Ally
I love this app when it's working.  When it's not, it makes me nuts!  Thanks 
for your work on it.

Moto Droid. Stops tracking after about ~15 minutes, every time, since the first 
day downloading it. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I always leave the 
screen turned on, as the vibrate function doesn't work when it's turned off 
(even in demo mode). I am really happy the app exists, and will be even happier 
when it'll work properly.
