can't cancel alarm on nexus one #53

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set alarm
2. start tracking
3. wake more than 30 minutes before alarm and 
cancel tracking
4. adjust alarm time and press disable

What is the expected output? What do you see 
instead?
expected: no alarm until I set a new alarm
seen:30 minutes before last set alarm, tracking 
starts even though alarm has been disabled then 
some time in the next 30 minutes the alarm will 
go off

Which phone model do you have?
nexus one

Please provide any additional information 
below.
I have stay awake while charging enabled as 
work around for the "no sensing with screen off" 
bug

Also have a galaxy nexus on ICS. Can't disable alarm in smart alarm clock. 
Deinstall didn't help. Appears to leave broken alarm settings behind on system 
level. First occurrence after OS update. Any way to manage all alarms present 
in the OS might solve this. Check for killing all might be good too - or at 
least check why some kill commands fail.
